In Magnificient Style.

In Magnificient style est un wargame sur carte de Victory Point Games en solo, qui retrace la charge de Picket à Gettysburg en 1863.
A première vue, l'idée de traverser un terrain découvert pour prendre d'assaut une position légèrement fortifiée peut sembler suicidaire mais à la lecture des règles, c'est du domaine du possible.
Le matériel est de la qualité visuelle habituelle, ce qui n'a jamais été le point fort de VPG. Enfin, j'ai des doute sur la re-jouabilité du jeu malgré un système d’événements aléatoires.
IMS est le premier jeu de la série "Death or Glory".

In Magnificient style is a wargame on map from Victory Point Games and in solo, which represents the charge of Picket at Gettysburg in 1863.
At first sight, the idea to cross a clear ground to assault a slightly strengthened position can seem suicidal but in the reading of rules, it is of the domain of the possible.
The content is of the usual visual quality, what was never the key point of VPG. Finally, I have doubt on the re-playability of the game in spite of a system of random events.
IMS is the first game of the series " Death or Glory ".
