Dark Sword vend vingt et unes nouvelles figurines du Trône de Fer, issue de la campagne Kiki. Ces figurines en 28 mm sont sculptées principalement par Tom Meier et un peu Kev White.

Voici neuf nouvelles figurines qui sont en vente à partir du 17 mars chez Dark Sword dont une majorité de figurines pour le Trône de Fer.

Le club des cinq.

Dark Sword met en vente cinq nouveaux aventuriers ou plutôt quatre figurines de la gamme Elmore et Ser Waymar Royce de la garde de nuit. Tout ce petit monde est en 28mm.

John Picacio

John Picacio a été récompensé du prix Hugo, début septembre, pour son travail graphique sur le Trône de Fer.

A cette occasion, il a rédigé un article qui nous rappelle tous les illustrateurs ayant reçu ce prix comme Bob Eggleton, Roy Krenkel, Frank Frazzeta, Michael Whelan...un article vraiment intéressant.

John Picacio was awarded the Hugo Award in early September for his graphic work on the Iron Throne.

L'extension pour Battles of Westeros concernant la maison Baratheon va être bientôt mise en vente par FFG. Comme toute bonne extension, elle comprend trois nouvelles troupes, un scénario et des règles supplémentaires pour jouer la grosse bataille de Blackwater Bay.

The extension for Battles of Westeros covering house Baratheon will soon be for sale by FFG. Like any good extension, it includes three new troops, a scenario and additional rules for playing the big battle of Blackwater Bay.

Dark Sword propose quatre nouvelles figurines pour la gamme du Trône de fer, quatre pour la gamme des illustrateurs et quatre pour la gamme animalière et en dehors du voleur grenouille, elles sont plutôt réussies.

Eastwatch by the Sea

"Eastwatch by the Sea" est la quinzième peinture de Ted Naismith sur les château du Trône de fer. C'est pour moi l'une de ses plus belles avec Pyke.

"Eastwatch by the Sea" is Ted Naismith's fifteenth painting about the castles of the Iron throne world. It is for me, one of its most beautiful with Pyke.

Simpsons et Trône de Fer.

En attendant le premier avril, que la saison 2 soit diffusée aux USA, les Simpsons rendent hommage à la série de Martin.

Dark Swords

Deux nouvelles figurines rejoignent la gamme Elmore chez Dark Swords ainsi que quatre loups pour le Trône de Fer et trois animaux pour de l'Héroïque fantaisie.

Ser Loras

La figurine est superbe, c'est une Dark Swords bien sûr, la peinture de Jen Haley est magnifique bien qu'elle ne soit pas terminée. Je m'imaginais Ser Loras comme ça et j'attends avec impatience de voir la cape terminée.

The figurine is superb, it is from Dark Swords of course, the painting of Jen Haley is magnificent but it is not ended. I imagined myself Ser Loras like that and I look forward to seeing the ended cape.

Quatre nouvelles références en 28mm chez Dark Swords avec : un cochon d'Inde sorcier, Greatjon Umber pour le Trône de fer et deux figurines d'héroïque fantaisie.

Bluebolt est la société chargée des effet spéciaux numériques pour la série du Trône de Fer, Bluebolt produit une vidéo qui explique son travail, c'est très intéressant.

Calendrier Trône de Fer.

C'est pas le calendrier Pirelli mais le calendrier 2012 du Trône de fer n'est pas mal non plus. Comme toute mise en images  d'une œuvre littéraire, ça ne correspond pas toujours à nos représentations.
John Picacio est l'illustrateur de ce calendrier dont voici quelques images mais l'intégralité est visible sur son blog.

It is not the Pirelli calendar but the calendar 2012 of the Game of Throne is not badly either. As any stake in images of a literary work, that does not allways correspond to our representations.
