Militaria HS80

Le numéro 80 hors série de Militaria Magazine aborde les combats des divisions de Montgomery pendant le mois de septembre 1944, entre la traversée de la Seine et l'opération Market Garden.

Comme toujours on trouve beaucoup de photos, des profils de véhicules mais la thématique me semble trop large entre un traitement rapide mais correct de Market Garden et des sujets passionnants et très bien traités comme l’opération Astonia ou les prises de Boulogne et Calais avec des cartes très précises.

Un bon numéro quand même, la suite des opérations de Monty sera développée dans le numéro 82.

The special issue 80 of Militaria Magazine approaches the fights of the divisions of Montgomery during September 1944, between the crossing of the Seine and the operation Market Garden.

As usual we find many photos, profiles of vehicles but the theme seems to me too wide between a fast but correct treatment of Market Garden and fascinating and very well treated  subjects as the operation Astonia or the fights for Boulogne and Calais with very precise maps.

A good issue all the same, the continuation of Monty's operations will be developed in the issue 82.
