En juillet, je me suis aperçu que cela ferait dix ans cette année que le blog existait. Vous n'allez donc pas échapper au post anniversaire.
Il ya 10 ans je lançais un blog pour pouvoir héberger des photos de mes figs avant de les poster sur des forums. Mon premier post concernait une armée DBA Carthaginoise en 15mm dont j'avais raté pas mal de choses à l'assemblage et à la peinture. Le soclage ne m'apparaissait pas nécessaire à cette époque.
J'ai ajouté mon anglais approximatif après quelques temps pour les non-francophones, très nombreux sur le blog.
Je me suis pris au jeu rapidement à poster de plus en plus souvent.
Vint ensuite la découverte d'un blog impérial qui m'a influencé sur le fait que je posterai de l'actu, d'abord pour moi puis pour les autres et en mélangeant deux familles de figouzes qui se côtoient peu : les historiques et les fantastiques...et voilà où on en est au bout de dix ans.
Je remercie mes parents sans qui rien ne serait arrivé, Tata Mauricette, Oncle Marcel... ma femme qui supporte que chaque soir je passe deux à trois heures sur l'ordi et tous les lecteurs qui au boulot, le matin devant le café ou dans le train lisent le blog. Soyons honnête, mettre à jour le blog est un moment de détente après une journée de boulot, ce n'est en rien une contrainte.
Sans compter les lecteurs qui me reconnaissent et qui viennent discuter figs, ceux qui me contactent pour que je leur trouve une figurine de tirailleurs Ouzbek en 12mm et ceux, très peu nombreux, qui m'insultent. Je les remercie de m'avoir traité d'agent de la colonisation Française et de feignasse car venant de parfaits imbéciles c'est un compliment.
Il y a eu les prix aussi au nombre de trois mais je n'ai gardé que le meilleur.
Merci aussi à ceux qui m'envoient des figurines, c'est toujours un plaisir de les recevoir, de les peindre pour mieux les critiquer ensuite.
Je pensais arrêter le blog au bout de 7 ans car c'est l'âge de raison mais il est encore là aujourd'hui malgré un boulot chronophage et une famille exigeante. Désolé si parfois je me trompe sur un prix, un nom ou une marque car certaines journées sont...intenses et fatigantes.
Enfin, grâce à ce blog j'ai rencontré plein de gens sympas IRL dont certains sont devenus de très très bons amis.
L'avenir reste attaché à la formule du blog, j'aurais aimé poster des pages complètes genre magazine mais le temps me manquerait pour les réaliser chaque jour.
Je rentre dans dix jours et dans dix jours, je reprends les mise à jours.
Sur ce, je reprends du gâteau.

10 years ago I launched a blog to host photos of my minis before posting them on forums. My first post was about a Carthaginian DBA army in 15mm of which I had missed a lot of things in assembly and painting. The basing did not seem necessary to me at that time.
After some time, I added an "english" text for non french speaking readers.
I got into the game quickly to post more and more often.
Then came the discovery of an imperial blog that influenced me on the fact that I will post news, first for me and then for others and mixing two the families of minis that do not often mix : the historical and the fantastic ... and here we are after ten years.
I thank my parents without whom nothing would have happened... my wife who supports that every evening I spend two to three hours on the computer and all the readers who at work, in the morning in front of their coffee or on the train reading the blog. Let's be honest, updating the blog is a relaxing time after a day of work, this is in no way a constraint.
Not to mention the readers who recognize me and who come to discuss minis, those who contact me so that I find them a miniature of an Ouzbek skirmisher in 12mm and those, few, who insult me. I thank them for treating me as a racist and a feeder because coming from perfect imbeciles is a compliment.
I also received three prices but I chose to keep only the most important for me.
Thanks also to those who send me figures, it is always a pleasure to receive them and to paint them.
I planned to stop the blog after 7 years because it is the age of reason but it is still there today despite a time-consuming job and a demanding family.
Sorry if sometimes I'm wrong on a price, a name or a brand because some days are ... intense and tiring.
Finally, thanks to this blog I met lots of nice people IRL, some of whom have become very very good friends.
The future remains attached to the formula of the blog, I would have liked to post complete pages like the magazine but the time needed is too important to be realised in an evening.
I will be back in ten days and in ten days, I resume the updates.
